Red Oaks Pottery - Real American Redware

Red Oaks Pottery is Real American Made earthenware pottery inspired by early redware from Colonial America & Europe. Each piece of pottery is hand made by an amazing Ohio artisan, using the same techniques as those used in early redware potters. Plates and platters are rolled out, cut and draped.

Decorating is achieved by using a combination of slip trailing, sgraffito, and slip brushing. All pieces are glazed with a transparent amber glaze at approximately 2000 degrees. All glazes are food safe.
